Around the classrooms

Foundation: Our year 12 buddies have been reading with our Foundation students at the beginning of the day. Foundation students will also begin their first full week of classes this week and wish them all the best with fulltime schooling.

Year 1 & 2: Over the last couple of weeks, in Year 1 & 2 Science, the class have been learning about butterflies. They looked at the life cycle of a butterfly and put together a flipbook about it. Last Thursday, they practiced their paper-folding skills to create some origami butterflies. It was tricky, but they showed resilience and patience to finish their butterflies.

Year 3/4 Werribee Zoo Trip: Students have been preparing in anticipation of their zoo trip coming up this week. A reminder that the bus will leave from school at 6:30am sharp Thursday 7th March. All students are required to wear school uniform and bring a bag with a packed lunch, snacks and plenty of water. There will not be an opportunity for students to use any money to buy food etc. If there are any other questions, please get in contact.

Year 5 & 6: Students in year 5 & 6 PE classes have continued to work with the sport and recreation students on a Thursday to further develop their understanding and skills during different net/wall sports.
