Chess Club 

Chess Club commenced last week and the students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to learn new games and refine their game play. Here are some thoughts from our budding chess enthusiasts:

Library Team 

Each week I am lucky enough to have a group of Grade 5/6 students help me in the library with various tasks. A few members of the Library Team have shared their favourite books: 

Diary of a wimpy kid series by Jeff Kinney – Jot (Library Leader)

I am currently reading Book 4: Dog Days. I like this series of books as they are entertaining and funny. 

Code name bananas by David Walliams - Lakyn

David Walliams is my favourite author. I really like the interesting words he uses. I also enjoy reading about the new adventures. I have read nearly all of his books 

The school for good and evil by Soman Chainani - Mia

I find this book really interesting and want to keep reading to know what happens next.
