Education in Faith

During our Education in Faith lessons, we are learning about Lent. Our focus for Lent is what actions can we take to help others. Rather than give something up, what is something we can do to show respect and kindness and follow in Jesus' footsteps.

Grade 1/2 Mass

On Tuesday 12th March we will be attending Mass down at the Parish which you are all welcome to attend. It will be at the usual time of 9.15am.

Writing

During writing this fortnight we have been learning about sentence structure, nouns, verbs and pronouns. These are some work samples of students replacing nouns with pronouns in their sentences.

Inquiry

As part of our unit on Community, we are investigating important places within the local area. We went on a 'virtual tour' visiting the beach, pier, surf life-saving club, George Pentland Botanic Gardens, sporting grounds, PARC, hospital, church and library.

Maths

During Maths we have been making sure we know the days of the week in order. We are also learning the months of the year, how many days are in each, and which months make up each season.
