Year 4 Highlight

Camp

On Tuesday the 12th of March we left school to visit CYC Forest Edge camp. One of our activities was to create a waterproof hut. It was so funny because everyone got drenched. We also went on a bush walk and almost every slipped while we were going through the forest! 

One of our activities was the climbing wall. They put straps on and harnesses then made sure that they were tight. There were two types of walls. There were also two people that helped, they gathered the rope. Some people reached right up the top of the wall! 

One of my favourite parts about camp was going on the flying fox. I liked that the wind went into my face and the beautiful view we got to see. 

One of my favourite activities was going on the flying fox. It was frightening for the moment and then once we were done. I was so proud of myself.
