SWIMMING IN SCHOOLS INITIATIVE

A reminder to parents to please complete and return a Level Assessment Form for your child, which will allow the swimming coordinator to group the students based on their swimming/water abilities. 

Parents are asked to complete and return the Level Assessment Form ASAP, by one of the following methods:

  • complete it on your computer, save a copy to your hard drive and then email the form to sue.turner@education.vic.gov.au 
  • print out the form and complete by hand, scan it and send the form to sue.turner@education.vic.gov.au 
  • print out the form and complete by hand and return the paper copy to the school office.
  • collect a paper form at the office

There is no cost to parents for instruction or bus transport however consent to attend must be provided via the Compass Event.

 

All students in years 3 – 6, will attend the Kyneton Toyota Sports & Aquatic Centre for an intensive ‘Swim & Survive Program’, for 5 sessions over 1 week.

 

Dates for each year level are listed below.

May 6 – 10 – Year 4

May 13 – 17 – Year 3

May 27 - 31 – Year 5 & 6

 

ANDROID PHONE ISSUE - QKR APP

For some time there has been an issue for some parents who have recent model Android phones, with loading and using the QKR app.

 

The good news is we have been advised the issue has now been resolved and users should have no further problems downloading or using the QKR app.

 

CAMPS SPORTS & EXCURSION FUND APPLICATIONS

If you have a health care card, please fill out a CSEF application form or contact the school office for further information.

 

Don’t forget to apply for younger siblings who have just started school.

 

CONVEYANCE ALLOWANCE

Some students attending this school will be eligible for a Conveyance Allowance if you live more than 4.8 km from the nearest school as well as 4.8kms from the nearest govt funded bus stop.

 

Complete a Conveyance Allowance application form or contact the school office for further information.

PARENT PAYMENT & BOOK REQUISITE INFORMATION 2024

Thank you to those families who have already made contributions towards the below listed amounts. If you’re not sure if you have paid or not, please check your QKR app under ‘Activity’, on the screen where you choose the school. School account statements have been issued which show all payments received to date for 2024 and any credit amounts (money we owe you). If you haven’t paid anything for this year or don’t have a credit on your account, we have been unable to issue a statement.

 

Official receipts for donations to the Building and Library Fund (which are tax deductible) will be issued later in Term 2 or early Term 3.

 

Payment methods - Via QKR (free app) – for payment of Booklist, Netbook Program, Carlsruhe Bus, School Improvement Fund and Building & Library Fund Contributions.

QKR is also used for Canteen & Uniform Shop orders.
