DISCO WRAP UP!
Wow that was truely "out of this world!" From the amazing decorations to the baked goods, the parent helpers and everything in between, what a huge success. There are so many moving parts with the disco and everything went so smoothly! The weather was not on our side but thankfully held out to make everything fun and safe! Thank you to the Year 2 and Prep parents who took on key roles to help with the smooth running! There is a lot to book and arrange in the weeks leading up so a huge thank you to everyone involved!
There are plenty more that did heaps of jobs but to name a few... Ely Ferguson, Katya Shramkova, Lucy Garrido, Lina Papalina, Jordi Vernon, Deb Putt, Lisa Lui, Lisa Cohen Hyman, Romy Same, Deb Leibhaber and Kat Koenig! Sorry if I have missed your name but you know how grateful and appreciative we all are for all your hard work! Every part matters, the parents walking around with rubbish bins, security guards, sausage turners, those sweeping the floors, and handing out slushies ... every job is essential so THANK YOU!!
DISCO DONATIONS
Huge thank you to Woolworths Metro South Caulfield for donating 45KG of Fruit!!! This was amazing and the kids loved it! Tim and Matt at the new Woolworths Metro Hawthorn Road are so fabulous and would love to connect with more GPS families so be sure to pop in and thank them!
Another thank you to Wills Batch who this year donated a generous amount of gift vouchers to be given out at the discos. Students received them on the dancefloor, during the disco for demonstrating amazing HERRRBy values and at the end those who were able to stay and help with pack up! Thank you Wills Batch for another opportunity to connect with GPS! Be sure to pop in and say thank you!
Thank you to all the parents who donated other various items too, like lollies, baked goods, bubble tea, craft paper, stickers, zooper doopers and more. It's greatly appreciated. We are an amazing community!
