Congratulation to all the students who played in the Division Cricket T20 competition held on Tuesday 29th at Alfredton Recreation Reserve. The boys team put in a strong performance winning all but one of their pool games. Unfortunately, under the new format of the carnival, there weren’t any finals to contest.
First of all our players did great but the results were incredible. Round 1 was a bye for our boys which made them more thrilled for the next round. Round 2 was Phoenix, a biggy for the team winning 264 to 84. Round 3 was Gordon, a hard team, we put our hardest effort into the game but we sadly lost 94 to 196. Round 4 was Clarendon, it was the closet game we had yet 134 to 118 for the win for Delacombe, winning 3 out of 4. Thank you.

On Tuesday 29th October, students from year 5 and 6 went to represent the school for District Cricket. The girls started off with a loss but did not give up. The girls brushed it off and got a really close score of 114 – 139. Then the girls came up against Black Hill and sadly lost. But, then for the final game of the event came back strong and won!
