Best wishes to the class of 2024

This Friday 18 October we will farewell the class of 2024. We wish them all the best as they begin the final period of revision before their exams. It is with great pride that we have seen the growth of our students over the past six years and their adaptability in dealing with the challenges they have faced.

Farewell class of 2024, and good luck in all your future endeavours!

Year 12  Reports

Year 12  End of Semester Reports will be available on Tuesday 22 October. For Year 11 students who have accelerated into a Year 12 subject, they will receive the report for their Year 12 subject with their End of Semester Report at the end of the year.

Senior School Book Lists and Step Up to Senior School Program

All Year 9, 10 and 11 students will undertake the Step Up to Senior School program for their 2025 Year 10, Year 11 & 12 VCE and VCE VM studies from Monday 25 November to Friday 6 December.

Year 9, 10 & 11 students will receive their 2025 Subject Confirmation and Booklist information next week.

Year 10 and VCE Book Lists are due online by Friday 1 November. All orders placed by this date will be posted to the selected address FREE OF CHARGE in the week ending Friday 22 November. There is an option to purchase books secondhand through Sustainable School Shop. The booklist timeline has been brought forward to ensure that Senior School students have the necessary resources for both Step Up weeks and over the summer break. Step Up enables students to start their Senior School studies in earnest, including the provision of some preparatory homework for the holiday period, with a view to alleviating some of the time pressures and constraints of next year. Consequently it is an important time in the life of a Senior School student and it will be crucial that our students bring the right mindset to it.

We look forward to an exciting, challenging and rewarding 2025 for our Senior School students.

Year 7 Changemaker Projects

In the final two weeks of this term, our Year 7 students will engage in an exciting Inquiry unit centred around being changemakers and the vital role of water in our lives.

Students will explore various aspects of water use in our region, including waste management, water conservation, and its significance in industries like farming. An Immersion Day will allow them to delve deeper into the water industry and connect their findings to the changemaker and water themes we’ve studied throughout the year.

Following this, students will collaborate in groups to develop projects based on their learnings and interests. This initiative aims to develop the competencies of quality thinking and collaboration;  fostering students who are lifelong learners who think critically and work well with others.

Mark your calendars for our Projects Expo on Friday 6 December , where Year 7 students will proudly showcase their work.

Stay tuned for more details!
