Each week we love to celebrate any students who may have achieved something significant during sporting events, dancing, baptisms, theatre, music achievements etc. both inside school and outside school.

Please email reception@dcs.tas.edu.au with the details (we would love a photo too!) so we can celebrate together as a community.

Tasmanian Primary Schools Table Tennis Championships

After competing in our Devonport Christian School Table Tennis event, Ruby, Molly, Ezra and Myles were selected to participate in the Tasmanian Primary Schools Table Tennis Championships at Port Sorell over the weekend.

The team did brilliantly and played fantastic table tennis. Ezra made it to the semi finals and Myles made it into the grand final, playing a very close match in the fifth set. The team also did an amazing job in the mixed doubles. Congratulations to you all!

International Chess Festival

Congratulations to Vivaan (Yr 3) who competed in the Huon Valley International Chess Festival during the last weekend of the school holidays. Vivaan won the Under 16 trophy and a cash prize.
