Assistant Principal

Year 11 & 12

Best wishes to our year 12 students who this week began their the VCE exams starting with English on the 29th of November. They reportedly had made a confident start to this exam cycle with many feelings like they had prepared well and completed the questions to the best of their ability. Their conduct and manner across this week were exemplary, with the supervisors commenting on their respectful behaviour, diligence and application during the exams. There are three weeks of exams to come. Best of luck for the remaining exams.

Friday was the last day of formal year 11 classes. The students have a week to study prior to their semester two exams beginning Monday the 11 of November. Students have been sent the exam timetable posted on teams. Following the exams, they will participate in their year 12 Orientation Program. During this program students will be provided with a head start to their year 12 classes completing essential lessons and beginning their learning in their subjects. Students will be encouraged to read their required English novels before return to school next year, enabling them to use class sessions to unpack character and analysis of issues.

Holiday homework tasks will be issued in all subjects. Completion of the holiday work will also ensure the building of successful foundations to those school-based assessment tasks students will be completing early in the year.

Best wishes,

Laura Forster

Assistant Principal
