Official Opening

The official opening took place on Friday the 25th of October. We were joined by our local state MP – Bronwyn Halfpenny who had the honour of officially opening the buildings. We were also joined by our school council president Mirjana Topkoska, ex-student Anthony Koutoufides, former Principals Silvana Sena and David Jensz, representatives from the Department of Education, Brand Architects, APP, current and former school council representatives, well as some visiting local primary school Principals and staff and students.

It was wonderful to formally recognise the efforts of everyone who contributed to this project and has made our school a better place to be.

Change to Regular Program

As the Year 11, 10 and 9 students all complete their end of Semester Exams there is some changes to the regular school program that parents / carers / guardians should be aware of as it impacts your children directly.

The Year 11 exams will commence on Monday the 11th of November, and students will complete these up until Friday the 15th of November. All Year 11 students are then involved in a Year 12 Orientation program that starts with their exam feedback held on Monday the 18th of November. 

The Year 10 exams commence on Monday the 18th of November and conclude on Thursday the 21st of November. Year 10 students are not required to attend school on Friday the 17th of November. The 2024 Year 11 Orientation program commences on Monday the 25th of November. All Year 10 students are required to attend this program.

The Year 9 exams will be held on Friday the 22nd of November and Monday the 25th of November. Year 9 students are required to attend school as usual during these days.

All Year 7, 8 and 9 students will be involved in the End of Year Activities program commencing on Monday the 9th of December. Details of this program will be provided in the coming weeks.

Melbourne Cup – Public Holiday

This Tuesday the 5th of November is the Melbourne Cup Public Holiday. The school will be closed. The school will be open on Monday the 4th of November if students require care, as we have received limited responses for attendance on this day.
