Child safety and wellbeing at Warrandyte Primary School: information for families and the school community
The Victorian Government has announced new Child Safe Standards to further strengthen child safety across organisations, including schools. The new standards recognise the critical importance of families and the broader school community in maintaining and promoting child safety and wellbeing.
Warrandyte Primary School has reviewed and updated our child safety policies and procedures to ensure they meet the requirements of the new standards. These are available to view via our website, and at the school’s front office.
We are committed to continuous improvement in our approach to child safety and wellbeing and welcome feedback from families and members of our school community on ways we can further strengthen our child safety policies, procedures and practices.
If you have any suggestions, comments or questions, please contact Warrandyte Primary School at warrandyte.ps@education.vic.gov.au or by phone on (03)9844 3537.

Parent Fee Schedule 2024
The 2024 Booklist, term 1, 2 & 3 excursion/activites fees can be found in your Compass portal. We ask parents/carers to please pay these fees as soon as possible.
As you can imagine there are many resources required to running a school and providing excellence in learning opportunities for students. Funding from DET does not cover the cost of everything we want to provide to all our students.
Our school now relies on the generous and voluntary support of parents and community members to make up shortfalls in funding.
School Council would be very grateful of your over and above financial support for all students learning in 2023.
If anyone is having financial difficulties, please contact either the office or Nieta, the Principal, for a confidential discussion.
