These dispositions are integral to fostering creativity and curiosity, aligning with the Department for Education's strategy to cultivate innovative and inquisitive learners.

Understanding the Maths Dispositions

Resilience: Encouraging children to persevere through challenges, view mistakes as learning opportunities, and develop a growth mindset.

Resourcefulness: Inspiring students to think creatively, use available tools and strategies, and approach problems with an open mind.

Reflection: Promoting self-assessment, encouraging students to think about their thinking, and fostering a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.

How You Can Support at Home
