We have wrapped up our 2025 Encounter Program and started planning and preparing for our 2026 program.  On all counts this was a very successful program; inter-cultural friendships, language practice, academic challenge, opportunities to practice our school values of kindness and respect.   Some final photos in the designated Encounter page in this newsletter.

Book Character Parade

Don your favourite costume one and all!  We have our Book Character Parade tomorrow to celebrate Book Week.  Join us tomorrow morning, on the basketball courts for a parade of book characters, like you have never seen.  There will be no afternoon assembly tomorrow.

Working Bee - 11:00am Saturday 23 August

Don't forget that the Working Bee is on this coming Saturday.  We will be moving mulch and sand, along with establishing garden beds in the Edible Garden.  Bring along your children, your tools and your enthusiasm.  BBQ lunch at the end of the toil.

State School Spectacular

Things are really ramping up for our Spectacular Performance on Saturday 13 September. Check out the Victorian State School Spectacular Facebook page to see video footage of rehearsals last week.  The Maroondah Leader Newspaper and Herald Sun have also featured our school in their promotion of this event.
