Language Week

Last week, our ISP Captains did a fantastic job supporting the Language Faculty by organizing some great events to celebrate Language Week.

Vietnamese Workshop

The workshop began with learning some Vietnamese greetings, followed by an exploration of how complex Vietnamese can be. We learned how easily one can unintentionally offend others due to the language’s unique system. Thank you to our great student leaders for the presentation and the engaging manner in which they led us through it.

Multicultural Karaoke

Celebrating the diversity of language was even better with music during the lively karaoke session. The afternoon was filled with energy, rhythm, and song. It was wonderful to see students embracing different languages by singing in Japanese, Vietnamese, French, and more.
