Year 5 TIMSS Assessment – Completed

Our Year 5 students have now completed the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS).

TIMSS is an international assessment that looks at how students learn mathematics and science across different countries. It takes place every four years.

What students did

• Answered maths and science questions
• Completed a short questionnaire about their learning

Why this is important

The results help Australia understand student learning in maths and science. This information is used to improve teaching and learning in schools.
