Project Rockit – Year 5/6 Incursion

Our Year 5/6 students participated in an engaging Project Rockit session focused on respectful relationships and positive behaviours.

Students explored creating positive online interactions and how their words can impact others. They learned how emojis can help express emotions and reduce misunderstandings online. A key message was that face-to-face communication matters, especially for difficult conversations, helping build empathy and understanding. Students were also reminded that taking time before replying can keep situations calm and respectful.

This session equipped students with practical strategies to communicate with confidence, kindness and responsibility.

Project Rockit – Year 3/4 Incursion

Our Year 3/4 students took part in a Project Rockit session focused on identity and belonging.

Students learned that we don’t have to change ourselves to fit in and reflected on who they are. They explored celebrating differences and how this strengthens our community, along with ways of uplifting those around us through kindness and inclusion. A strong message was that no one is “normal”—being ourselves matters—and that we all belong.

This session supported students to feel confident, included and proud of who they are.
