Westpac Young Technologists Scholarship

 

 

Power your passion and take your STEM studies to the next level with the Westpac Young Technologists Scholarship! The Westpac Young Technologists Scholarship was made for talented and inquisitive high school graduates looking to strengthen their passion and expertise in technology to innovate and create new opportunities and inspire good in the world of STEM. 

 

Westpac Young Technologists Scholars get: 

  • Up to three years of financial support for their studies. 
  • Networking opportunities. 
  • Mentoring programs. 
  • Paid internships with senior business leaders and industry-based experts. 

In addition, they get the chance to develop critical skills through the Disruptive Leaders Program which includes five days in Asia as part of an international learning experience to broaden minds and inspire new ways of thinking!

Up to 35 Young Technologists Scholarships are awarded every year across five partner universities: 

  • Murdoch University 
  • Queensland University of Technology 
  • RMIT University 
  • Western Sydney University 
  • University of Wollongong

Who can apply? 

Scholars must be intending to commence a STEM related degree at one of Westpac’s five partner universities across Australia, though you do not need to have received a formal offer at the time of your application. You must also: 

  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident. 
  • Have completed high school within the last two years. 
  • Be able to attend the Disruptive Leaders Program in Singapore (July 2026). 
  • Be able to attend the 2025 Westpac Scholars Summit in Sydney on 7-8 April.

Gallipoli Scholarship

 

Valued at $6,000, the Gallipoli Scholarship is open to the direct descendants of any service man or woman who has served in the Australian or New Zealand Defence Force in a conflict or peacekeeping operation, since the First World War to the present day. 

 

The Scholarship selection process is based 60% on necessitous circumstances, 

and 40% on academic merit.  

 

Applications open on 1 January and close on 28 February each year. All applicants are notified of their selection, or otherwise, by the end of March each year. Applications are submitted online via the website and require a number of documents to support the application.

Summer holiday Workshops

 

Limited tickets available to the 2-day Summer Workshops on 

 22nd and 23rd of January, 2025.

 

Workshops include: Animation, Fashion, Film Making, Interior Design, Entertainment Management, Performing Arts, Photography, Graphic Design and 

Audio & Music.
