Captains Corner

Welcome to the Captain’s Corner, with Alyssia and Patrick!

Hi everybody and welcome to our final Captain's Corner!

Yesterday, our Year 6's graduated. At the end of the day, we proceeded out through the guard of honour to our classic leaving song, The African Blessing.  Later that evening, we had our Graduation Ceremony and today we went to Gumbuya World for our Big Day out. We are quite excited to start high school but will be sad to leave!

On Monday, the Year 5s gave their leadership speeches. Everybody was extremely confident on the stage and they had all put a lot of effort in. Yesterday morning the Year 5s found out their Captaincy roles for 2025. Whoever gets School Captain will do a great job and will be taking over as writers of Captain's Corner!

On Tuesday evening, we had our whole school carol concert. The playground was decorated, it looked great and everybody dressed up. Every grade did an amazing job and sang their hearts out!

Last Thursday, we had the Swimming Carnival! Congratulations to Red House for winning the trophy (although I would have preferred Green House!). It was amazing seeing everybody really getting into it, screaming for their team. The scores were incredibly close! Well done everyone!

Thank you to everybody who has been reading our Captain's Corner, we will really miss our job!

Thank you! Happy Christmas! Signing off, Alyssia and Patrick D.

Year 6 Student Reflection of St Joseph's

St Joseph's is the most fun and best primary school anyone could ever attend. I am so devastated to leave this beautiful school after 7 years of making good friendships here. I have a lot of majestic memories that I could never forget. Thank you!
