Bike Ed

Last Friday, year 3 students, parents and teachers embarked on a celebration ride to end their bike ed program. We were blessed with great weather for the day and students demonstrated some great resilience throughout their riding course. Students were placed in 3 groups and lead by their principal, teachers and parents throughout surrounding tracks and reserves, crossing roads and demonstrating road safety. Two groups stopped at Lipscome Park for a break, snack and drink and the other group with more experienced riders, ventured all the way to Ringwood Lake for a break, snack and play. On their return back to school, having clocked up roughly 20km on their ride, they were rewarded with a sausage sizzle, cold drink and icy pole. 

It was such a great day and wouldn’t have been able to happen without the help and support of our teachers and parents. We would like to thank everyone who came and volunteered their time to make the event such a success, it is greatly appreciated!
