Thanks to all those parents/carers at parent pick up for your patience and understanding as we are trying a new process this year.
We are continuing to refine our process.
- Students will go to an allocated room to then be called once the parent/carer is there.
- Name placards will be sent home in student bags. Please look out for these. Please try to remember to bring these with you to the pick-up area. This is to assist new staff who may be allocated to the gate and to ensure a smooth process.
- If your child is in years 9-12 we would prefer them to leave from the back gate (Lagana St) to alleviate pressure from the main gate. You would just need to sign a form at reception.

| WHO FOR: | All parents welcome, but especially those whose child is having an assessment this year or is new to the school. |
| WHEN: | Friday 21st February 2025 |
| TIME: | 12.30pm (30-minute session + refreshments) |
| WHY: | The session will outline the funding model required for your child to be attending Jackson School and the process for the upcoming funding meeting (Disability Inclusion Profile Meeting DIPM). |
| RSVP: | Please let the school know if you will be attending. 9366 4322 (very important) |
We are hoping to reenergise our parents and friends’ group.
Only a small time commitment is required. For things like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day help plus some morning tea organisation which may develop further over time if we get the interest and support.
