We raised $1,736 for our school that will contribute to installation of a fan and upgraded lighting in the Stadium.

Term 2

We are looking forward to Term 2, including the following PFC activities:

• Pink Stumps Day - sweet treats for students
• Secondhand Uniform - sale & donation day on Wednesday 1 May and donation day on Wednesday 5 June; includes sorting of lost property boxes.
• Mother's Day Treat - Thursday 11 May
• Mother's Day Stall - Friday 12 May
• Family Event at Flip Out, Box Hill - Friday 14 June

It was great to welcome some new members at our last PFC meeting held on Wednesday 17 April. This was the first meeting for our new 2024-2025 Office Bearers and Committee, elected at the AGM in March. All welcome at our next meeting on Wednesday 29 May at 7pm. 

PFC membership is free and renewed annually. All members of the EHPS community are welcome and encouraged to join. Watch out for the new procedure to join soon. Join up and get involved in this vital part of EHPS, building community and fundraising for our school, and also be eligible to elect the Office Bearers and Committee each year. 

Secondhand Uniform & Lost Property

The Term 2 Secondhand Uniform Stall and Donation Day is on next Wednesday, 1 May, from 3pm to 3.45pm at the Stadium. 

Do you need a few extra items? Come and see the great items being offered at very reasonable prices: 

Payment via EFTPOS (Visa/MasterCard) only. All proceeds are fundraising for our school.

Donations of good quality, clean, current EHPS logo uniform that you no longer require, also gratefully received on Wednesday. Please remember to remove or cross out your child's name before donating. The second donation day this term will be held on Wednesday 5 June from 3pm to 3.30pm.

Lost items are placed in the four lost property boxes at school - large grey, square lidded boxes located at the Eucalyptus, Banksia and Violet buildings and the Stadium foyer. Lost lunchboxes and water bottles are placed on the windowsill of the Library Conference Room (near the Eucalyptus lost property box). Parents/guardians may check the boxes for lost items before 8.50am and after 3.30pm on school days. The boxes are sorted by volunteers, and named items are returned to students. Unclaimed, unnamed items of clothing in the lost property boxes may be offered for sale for fundraising.

Mothers Day Treat

Mums/Special Persons can enjoy a takeaway coffee and a sweet breakfast treat during school drop off, and take the opportunity to have a special photo taken with their child/children at the Mother's Day Treat on Thursday 9 May. Come along from 7.15am to 8.45am between the Eucalyptus building and the School Hall.

Please note that if you are unable to attend the Mother's Day Treat but wish to purchase tickets in the raffle, you may do so by simply selecting any session time but leave your attendance at zero and choose your raffle ticket purchase option.

Treat Helpers Needed

We require volunteers (preferably Dads) to assist handing out treats on Thursday morning, 9 May. Helpers needed for 45 minute shifts starting at 7.15am with the event concluding at 8.45am. Please sign up by clicking the button below: 

Mother's Day Stall 

With Mother’s Day fast approaching it is nearly time for our annual Mother’s Day Stall! Students will have the opportunity to purchase a gift from our Mother's Day Stall during the school day on Friday 10 May. Students will visit the Stall at a scheduled time with their class. 

If you want your child to purchase a gift, please send them to school with cash and a carry bag to bring their purchase home. 

Gift prices from $1 to $10. This is a school fundraiser, and proceeds go towards our school so that our children can benefit from new equipment and upgraded facilities. 

Stall Volunteers

We’re looking for some of our wonderful parents who would be able to volunteer some of their time to help us run the Mother's Day Stall on Friday 10 May. Time slots available are 9am to 11am, 11.30am to 1.30pm, or 1.30pm to 2.30pm. The Mother’s Day Stall is usually one of the most popular events to volunteer for, so sign up fast for a spot!

If you can help, please make sure your Working with Children Check is current (or apply if you’ve not yet got yours), and sign up when notified you've successfully passed. Many hands make light work, and make these activities viable and enjoyable! 

Ritchie’s IGA Loyalty Program

Our school is part of the Ritchies Community Benefit Program (RCBP). EHPS received $30.12 from the RCBP in March.

If you shop at a Ritchies IGA (the local store is in Mount Waverley) and are a member of their loyalty program, please support EHPS by choosing our school as your nominated beneficiary. Each month we receive 0.5% of purchases made by customers who have selected our school each month. Please encourage family and friends who also shop at IGA to support EHPS.
