Caroline Zhang (Year 11)

Recognised on the National and International Stages for Mathematics! 

 

We are thrilled to share that Caroline Zhang has been selected to participate in the prestigious 2024 Asian Pacific Mathematics Olympiad (APMO). Her dedication to Mathematics has earned her this remarkable opportunity to showcase her skills on a global stage.

 

Caroline's achievement is a testament to her hard work and talent, as she has navigated through a rigorous selection process to secure her place among the approximately 25 students invited annually to the APMO. Her commitment to excellence in Mathematics has not gone unnoticed, and we are immensely proud of her accomplishments.

 

In addition to her success in the APMO, Caroline will also demonstrate her Mathematical prowess as an active participant in the Australian Mathematical Olympiad Committee (AMOC) Selection School. As a member of the intermediate stream, Caroline will engage in intensive training and preparation alongside her peers, honing her skills and sharpening her problem-solving abilities.

 

The AMOC Selection School serves as a platform for aspiring Mathematicians like Caroline to not only compete for a spot on the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) team, but also to foster a deep appreciation for Mathematics and cultivate lasting friendships within the Mathematical community.

 

Caroline's journey is a shining example of determination and excellence, and we have no doubt that she will continue to excel in all her future endeavours.
