A Message from the Principal

Mrs Pauline Long

Dear Parents and Carers,

St Joseph’s Day Celebrations

Today we celebrated St Joseph’s Day by attending mass at St Brigid’s Church. After mass parishioners came for a walk through our school and shared morning tea with staff. They were most impressed with our classrooms and how excited the students were about their learning. They commented how bright and inviting our classrooms were and how well the students spoke about their learning. Building community between the school and parish is one of our Annual Improvement Plan goals.

3 Way Learning Conferences

Over the next two weeks teachers have made themselves available for 3 Way Learning Conferences (parents/carers, students & teachers). The students love to share their work samples and their learning goals. Having parents/carers contributing to these learning goals reinforces to students the importance of setting goals and working hard to achieve success. If you haven’t booked an appointment it is not too late, you can book through Compass as per the instructions in the general news section.

Art Competition

Don’t forget our annual Art Competition has opened and I encourage all students to participate. You can enter multiple times. Entries close on Friday 5th April.

Have a wonderful week

Pauline Long
