WILD: A Bush Adventure Therapy Service

We are excited to share with you the incredible experiences our students had during the recent WILD program excursion. WILD, a bush adventure therapy service, aims to foster personal development and connection with nature among our students.

During the excursion, participants had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Yarra Bend Park. They engaged in activities such as kayaking down the river and exploring the bush to reach the bat caves. The park is home to a large colony of up to 50,000 grey-headed flying fox mega bats.

The WILD program is designed to help students develop healthy relationships with themselves, others, and the environment. Through bush adventure therapy, they learn valuable skills and gain insights that enable them to make positive changes in their lives.

To conclude the day, everyone gathered for a BBQ in the park, where they shared their highlights and reflections on the day's activities. It was a memorable experience that brought our school community closer together while enjoying the wonders of nature.

We extend our gratitude to the WILD program and our dedicated staff for making this excursion possible and enriching the lives of our students.
