National Youth Science Forum 

Over the summer holidays, Year 12 students Maddie Judd, Matthew Hanns and Keegan Hawking had the opportunity to attend the National Youth Science Forum (NYSF). This ran in two sessions with Matthew and Keegan attending the Australian National University in Canberra, and Maddie attending The University of Queensland in Brisbane.

Biology Camp

On Wednesday 13th February students got 'hands on' in the Marine Discovery Centre touch tank, investigated the structure of a tube worm colony, and sampled the bottom of Port Phillip Bay. 

On Thursday 14th February the students used quadrats and transects to sample the species living in the intertidal zone in the rocky platform. Looking at how the distribution of species changes and adaptions they have to suit their environments.
