A Message from the Principal

Mrs Pauline Long

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to Term 2

I hope all our families had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed spending time with your children. It is always heartwarming to see the students return to school with smiling faces and eager to share their holiday adventures.

Term 2 is an action packed term with so many exciting things to look forward to:

It is a time for deep learning as all classes have established class routines and expectations and students will be exposed to rich tasks to challenge their thinking. I look forward to seeing students grow considerably in their learning this term.

School Photos this Thursday (don’t forget to wear your winter uniform).

Our Nature Ninja’s continue to grow amazing produce. We planted lots of winter crops today!

The Infants students will visit the town library for the National Simultaneous Storytime and our school student leaders will attend a special mass in Tamworth during Catholic Schools Week.

All students will begin preparing for our school Mini Olympics which is scheduled for Friday 2nd August. Parents will be invited to drop in during the day to see the fun activities the students are involved in.

We will be preparing for our whole school play. This will involve learning lines, learning dances, rehearsing with musical instruments and painting backdrops!

Finally don't forget our Mother's Day Celebration this Friday at 2.00pm. We will begin with a liturgy and then move to class activities. Mums, Grandmas, Aunties and other special women in the students' lives are most welcome to attend.

Happy Mother's Day to all our mums!

Pauline Long
