Hands On Learning

Tuesdays Hands on Learning fun…We made scones with homemade jam and cream for the staff. 

We tried a traditional scone recipe and a lemonade scone recipe.

We cooked potatoes 3 ways for our HOL shared lunch. 

We had baked potatoes with all the toppings, hot chips and mashed potato.

We invited Lesley and Mr Boxer to join us for lunch. 

We know Mr Boxer loves potatoes, but he wasn’t too sure about the coleslaw. 

The most important thing is that he gave it a try.

The students were very proud to show off their cooking creations.

We also started making a birthday board, which we’ll display in the shed so we can easily see whose special day is coming up, to acknowledge and celebrate their birthdays.
