I would also like to take this opportunity to say how impressed I am with the number of students who are getting to school early or staying back each afternoon to complete school work and to work collaboratively with others. It is also fantastic to see students attending the compulsory Thrive sessions that are conducted by our staff. Not only are these sessions beneficial for their own organisation and personal academic success, it also models to our Year 11 students a positive culture of learning. Thank you also to those teachers who often stay back to be a presence within the learning centre and who are running extra workshops. The Year 12 students are very grateful for your help and guidance.
This has been an exhausting few weeks for our Year 12 students and they have really demonstrated resilience and maturity as they are about to enter into this assessment period. As there are still a number of tasks in the next few weeks, I want to take this time to remind students and parents that balance is crucial for wellbeing and for personal best. If you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your son or daughter’s teacher, or myself for wellbeing and pastoral concerns.
