St Aloysius Presentation

On Tuesday, 5 March Fr Ross Jones SJ, rector of St Aloysius College Milsons Point and an Australian expert on Saint Aloysius visited our College. Fr Ross presented to year 7 students from the College along with year 5 and 6 students from St Aloysius primary school and St Francis de Sales primary school. The students learnt about St Aloysius of Gonzaga, as our new College patron it was important for the students to come to know his life story and why he was made a saint. After the engaging presentation the students completed activities to further explore his life.

Catechist Mass

Congratulations to the students of year 11 who were commissioned as Catechists. These students will be teaching students from Burraneer Bay Public School on a Tuesday afternoon. This is a wonderful opportunity to evangelise the students they teach and also to continue to learn more about their faith with the support of Ms Gamsaragan, Catechist Coordinator and Fr Rex, our College Chaplain.

St Patrick’s Day

On Monday, 18 March we celebrated with many other Catholic Schools St Patrick's Day at St Mary’s Cathedral. The most Reverend Terry Brady, Auxiliary Bishop celebrated the mass with fellow priests. It was a wonderful tribute to one of the saints of Ireland, St Patrick, credited for bringing Christianity to Ireland.
