Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge

Congratulations to all the students who have completed the Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge by reading 15 books or more in Yr 3 to Yr 6 and 30 or more books for Prep to Year 2! This is a wonderful achievement, and your hard work and dedication are to be commended.
This year, students at Good Shepherd collectively read an impressive 11,432 books, with 292 students—61% of our school—completing the challenge. Certificates will be presented early next week.
A special thank you to all the families who supported and encouraged their children throughout the challenge. The Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge helps foster a lifelong love of reading and strengthens positive reading habits.
Special mention to the following students who read and submitted over fifty books during the challenge; Ashane (3TR), Evan (3TR), Jack (3TR), Jada (1BC), Krystal (2CH) Lachlan (3TR), Lydia (Yr 5LB), Mati (Yr 2CH) and Yevin (Yr 6MP).
