SRC

On Friday the 17th of October, we had the SRC Art Club! Caitlyn, Emily, Leora and Katja were the SRC leaders in this club, but Allaina and Yasmeen helped us too. We did this club so that students won’t be bored or have no one to play with. 

We made origami and painted portraits with watercolours. The Art Club had 21 students attend at lunchtime. We had a really fun time, teaching kids how to make and draw some really cool things and learn something new. It was a great way of teaching people to explore their imagination and creativity. 

Everyone was very respectful and helped clean up a bit afterwards. Thank you to Ms Lema who let us use her classroom and to Mrs Murphy who let us borrow her water colour paints!! To make Art Club better, we could use placemats underneath the paintings because we found that afterwards we had to wipe tables that were thick with paint and even some chairs had to be wiped! 

We had a lot of fun running this club and hope we can do it again!
