S.T.E.M - National Science Week

Hello Everyone, National Science Week this year is August 10th to August 18th.

This is a chance for you to investigate some of the 'DO try this at home' activities with your students. From my own personal interests I know that Mythbusters have 2 episodes of their series on this and Operation Ouch has 3 seasons of 'do try this at home' experiments about the funcitions of the human body. 

However assuming you may be looking to avoid more craft (and glitter) in your house, there are 2 FREE activities being held at the local Glenroy Neighorhood house. Yes - the activities are free, but bookings are essential as places are limited.

For children aged 5 and up

Last week the grades 3-6 attended the Coburg Athletics track for track and field competition. The following day the P-2 students had some fun with different games and physical challenges. both days went off very well and luckily we had some good weather, although a little chilly at the athletics track.

Talent Show - Music and Performing Arts

A big thank you to all the children who have auditioned for the amazing Talent Show Extravaganza. We've had well over 40 acts audition for the big night 12th September. Results on who will perform will be given at the end of next week.

Please remind students that Wednesday 14th lunchtime next week is the last chance to audition. As most have now already auditioned.
