Parents & Friends' (PFA)

Welcome to Term 3 to all our wonderful St. Anthony’s families. We hope everyone enjoyed a nice relaxing break even if the weather was rather chilly and wintery!

The students have already had a very busy start to the term: the Athletics Day was thoroughly enjoyed by all the students as was the Bicycle Incursion. Congratulations to all the Preps on reaching their first 100 days of school, a big milestone for our littlest people.

We have been advised by Grill’d in Carnegie that our Local Matters Jar will be in store for the month of August. Grill’d is at 86 Koornang Rd Carnegie. Please try to visit Grill’d during the month of August to ensure to cast your token in St. Anthony’s Local Matters jar. Please visit the Grill’d website for more information on their many donations to local charities.

We have our major family event coming up in a few weeks on Friday 9th August…the St. Anthony’s School Disco!

Cost of tickets: 1 person is $8 and family tickets are $25. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 

If you haven’t already got your tickets, this is your reminder to get online quickly and get your tickets booked!! On the night, we will have snow cones, soft drinks and sausages to purchase, or you can BYO food and drinks. Anna Marie and Bec have been busily organising the event and they will need some volunteers from the junior grade parents to run the BBQ on the evening. Please let them know if you can assist in any way. It promises to be a spectacular night full of fun and dancing! Make sure to get practicing your dance routines if you want to make an impression.

The next PFA Meeting is coming up on Tuesday 20th August: this meeting will be online and we welcome all parents to come join in the planning of events for the rest of the year. We will send out further information closer to the date.
