Newlands Readathon

The Newlands Readathon is back! 

This is a great prelude to Book Week which begins at school on Monday, August 19.

Please encourage your child to enter. All funds raised go to the school library.

This year we have physical copy options of the sponsor and record sheets, as well as a Google Form if you prefer digital. Information about how and where to donate are on the Sponsor Form. This year you can do so by EFT directly to the school or using the online donation link below. 

How the Read-a-Thon works:

• Get reading for 2 weeks from 29 July - 11 August 2024.
• Sign up a parent or grown-up as a Sponsor and ask them to donate.
• Fill in this form or scan the QR code with your reading tally and donation amounts.
• Everyone who takes part will get a certificate and prizes will be awarded to the top readers

What counts as participation:

• A parent or grown-up reading to you
• Listening to audiobooks or books read/watched on Story Box Library, Bug Club, Raz Kids, and audiobooks.

Everyone will receive a certificate, and prizes will be awarded to top readers at our Book Week Parade on Friday 23rd August!
