Getting to Know You Interviews

A big thank you to all the families and teachers who took part in our Getting to Know You Interviews this week. These conversations are such an important part of the school year, allowing us to build strong connections between home and school.

By taking the time to share insights about your child, you are helping us to create a more tailored and supportive learning experience. These discussions ensure that teachers can provide dedicated and effective learning, making the classroom a place where every student feels supported and challenged.

We truly value this partnership with families and appreciate your ongoing support in helping us create the best possible learning environment for our students. If there’s anything else you’d like to share with your child’s teacher, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

School Council

We are still looking for parents to join our School Council and would love to have more voices from our school community involved. Being part of the School Council is a great way to contribute to the direction of the school, share ideas, and help make decisions that benefit our students.

No special experience is needed—just a willingness to be involved and work together to support our school. If you’re interested in learning more, please speak to the office, and we’d be happy to provide more information.

Your involvement can make a real difference, and we’d love to have you on board!

Year Level Information Slides

Last week, our Year 1–6 teachers and specialist teachers shared Year Level Information Slides with families. These slides provide important details about the year ahead, including key learning areas, classroom routines, and ways to support your child’s learning at home.

If you haven’t had a chance to view them yet, we encourage you to take a look. Thank you for your ongoing support—we’re looking forward to a great year of learning together!

Parents Association

Our school community is strengthened by the dedication and involvement of our families, and one of the best ways to contribute is by joining our Parent Association (PA). The PA plays a vital role in supporting our school, fostering connections among families, and helping to enhance the learning experience for all students.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to last year’s PA members for their hard work and commitment. Through their fundraising efforts, we were able to raise funds towards our new undercover basketball court, which provides students with a fantastic space for play and sport in all weather conditions. Further to this, they have also raised funds for student laptops, which directly supported student learning.

If you are interested in getting involved, we warmly invite you to join the PA this year. Whether you have a little time or a lot, every contribution is valued. To find out more or express your interest, please speak with the office—we’d love to have you on board!

Thank you for your ongoing support in making our school a great place for our students to learn and grow.
