Welcome!
Welcome to the 2025 school year at Lakeside College! What a full and wonderful start to the year it has been. Already, we have had VCE retreats, excursions and of course, classes and homework are well underway.
At the heart of our College is the Christian faith. This shapes our daily life and is the reason why, in the midst of the busyness of school, we take moments to pause and reflect. Each week, we gather for chapel services and daily devotions, reading the Bible together and taking time to hear the Good News of Jesus and His great love for us.
If you would like to learn more about our Christian foundations, or if you are curious about the Christian content your children may be engaging with, please feel free to reach out to me. As College Chaplain, my role is to provide care and support not only for students but also for our families. Whether you’d like to talk about faith, share a prayer request, or seek other support, I am always happy to hear from you.
College Chapel services
Parents and carers are warmly invited to join us for our chapel services, along with any pre-school aged siblings. Services last for about 15 minutes.
Most weeks, details for our chapel services are as follows:
Junior Primary Chapel (Prep - Year 3) – Tuesdays 8:45, Middle Primary Foyer
Senior School Chapel (Years 10-12) – Wednesdays 8:45, Middle School Building (S1 & S2)
Upper Primary Chapel (Years 4-6) - Thursdays 8:45, Middle Primary Foyer
Middle School Chapel (Years 7-9) – Fridays 8:45, Middle School Building (S1 & S2)
