Welcome Morning
Thank you to the families who were able to join us on Tuesday for our Welcome morning It was great to see so many families taking up this opportunity to visit the classrooms and spend time catching up with each other in the grounds over a free coffee. A shout out to the staff who opened the rooms earlier for our visitors.
Asphalt
Just a friendly reminder that the temporary fencing and Asphalt removal will begin this Friday, 7th February. The main gate on Edward street will be closed until the works are completed. The small gates on Edward street, the main entry on George street and the small gate near the service road at the highway crossing will all remain open.
5/6 Quantum Excursion
Our grade 5/6 students and staff had a great day at Quantum yesterday programming or 3D printing.
School Council Elections
Our School Council is calling for nominations from parents to be a part of this dynamic team. School Council meets twice a term on a Tuesday evening and provide direction around a diverse range of school areas ranging from Finance, Curriculum and Grounds and Facilities. Two thirds of the Council needs to be non- DET employees to ensure a strong community voice. Please consider nominating. Forms are available at the Office and self-nominations are accepted. If there are more nominations than vacancies an election will be held.

Annual Meeting (Election of office bearers) | Tuesday 18th March 6:30pm |
Our first School Council meeting will take place next Tuesday. This will be the final meeting for our current committee. Our annual meeting will be held on Tuesday 18th March. At this meeting we elect this year’s Officer Bearers and then hold the General meeting and get our School Council business underway. School Council exists to represent parents and to provide a strong voice in what happens at the school. If you are interested in joining School council please collect a nomination form from the office.
