It’s great to see all students settling into routines for great learning!
Starting with our Prep students following clear demonstrations of how to construct letters, for example where to start and in which direction to write and an effective pencil grip.
Our Year One students have shared their author skills by writing about their favourite part of their first day at school.
Our Year Two students showcase their comprehension skills by listening and responding to detailed instructions.
Our Year Threes are learning about independant and dependant clauses in sentences.
Our senior students are using combined phonological, morphological and vocabulary knowledge to read and write increasingly complex words such as 'meticulous'.
Whilst other students are exploring their responses to characters and events in literary texts such as 'A Ghost in My Suitcase' by G. Wang (Yr 6), 'War Horse' by M. Morpurgo (Yr 5), 'Kensuke's Kingdom' by M. Morpurgo (Yr 4) and 'Matilda' by R. Dahl (Yr 3)
