Leader of Year 11 Wellbeing

Students have returned to Term 2 with great enthusiasm. Year 11 students have already had numerous opportunities to engage in various activities within our College community.

We extend our sincere thanks to all the Year 11 students who volunteered to lead the Peer Support Australia program for Year 7 this term. This initiative, conducted during pastoral care lessons, provides an excellent opportunity for our Year 11 students to develop and demonstrate leadership skills. Trained Year 11 students facilitate structured activities with groups of students from Year 7.

Our Debating teams have been competing every Wednesday evening, and they’ve done a fantastic job representing the College in a series of challenging debates. In Week 10 of last term, our debaters secured a convincing victory over St Patrick’s College, Sutherland.

Last Friday marked Year 11’s first experience of Founder’s Day at Luna Park, and it was a huge success, filled with memorable moments. I was so impressed by the attendance and participation of all our Year 11 students. Judging by the photos, it’s clear that everyone had a fantastic day.

I’m looking forward to another great Term with Year 11.
