Cross Country Years 3-6

Carlton North Primary School’s Grade 3 to 6 students hit the track at Princes Park today, Thursday 15 May, for the school’s annual cross-country event. With perfect running weather and plenty of cheering from the sidelines, students gave it their all as they tackled the 2km and 3km course with determination and enthusiasm.

The top 10 finishers in each age group and gender will go on to represent the school at the Carlton District Cross Country, also to be held at Princes Park, where they’ll compete against students from other local schools.

A huge thank you goes out to all the wonderful parents who volunteered on the day — your support helped make the event run very smoothly. Thanks also to our teachers for walking the students to and from the park and cheering them on along the way.

It was a fantastic day with students showing our school value of Resilience and there were many examples of our students giving their best efforts. Well Done.
