Event wrap up: Democracy Sausage Sizzle and Cake Stall

As the sun was rising on election day, two very dedicated PFA members, Adam and Tanya, were out firing up the BBQs and flinging out the tablecloths to host a democracy sausage and cake stall. We were overwhelmed with the delicious treats many of you baked and donated. It was a successful day and we are pleased to report, we sold out everything by early afternoon!

We would like to thank all of the volunteers on the day, we couldn’t have done it without you. You were, however, slightly outshone by a number of your children, who were the true stars of the day: Big thanks to Scarlet, Lila, Evie M, Holly, Eliza, Remy, Evie B, Henry, Lincoln and Emmie. It was great to see the children chipping in and even running the show at times. WPS displayed great community spirit and many of the happy customers agreed.

We raised over $2500 for our school which is absolutely incredible! Big thanks to everyone involved!

Event wrap up: Spring bulb fundraiser

Thank you to everyone who placed orders with Tesselaar for spring colour. We’re delighted to report that the school received $881.40 from the campaign, which will be put to good use funding facilities for our kids.

Mother’s Day Morning Tea - Friday 9th May

We love an opportunity to celebrate, and this Friday we want to celebrate all of the wonderful Mums, Carers, Grandmothers, Aunties, and strong female role models in our children’s lives. We are hosting a morning tea from 7.45am in the school hall, and we would love for you to be there.

If you would like to help up we would very much appreciate it - there’s still time to sign up! Please use the below link:

WPS Kids Disco - Friday 27th June

The PFA is once again running a kids disco in Term 2. We cannot wait to see you groove along with some amazing dance moves as we shimmy, shake and dance until it’s late! We are busy planning this event, and will send out more details very soon. Please put the date in your diary.

If you’d like to help us organise the disco, we’d love to hear from you - send us an email at wpspfa@gmail.com. We’ll need volunteers for the day itself too, so keep your eye out for a callout.

Carlsruhe Fair Coordinator

I know what you’re thinking - the Carlsruhe Fair isn’t happening until 2026! But we need to get going with the organising, and are looking for someone keen to be the coordinator - it could be you! If you have any questions about the role, or would like to put your hand up, please reach out to us at wpspfa@gmail.com

This is an incredible opportunity to support our school community, and lead the charge on this remarkable day that we know our kids LOVE! Add it to your calendar now: the Carlsruhe Fair will be happening on Saturday November 14th, 2026.
