WPS Community Children’s Garden

It’s Autumn in the garden. Here’s a list of some of the fun activities we’ve been up to this fortnight:
potato treasure hunt – always exciting!
weeding, including removing stray raspberry and strawberry plants that pop up outside of their beds and taking them home to plant
composting old tomato plants and refreshing the garden beds with new compost
planting winter crops of garlic, broad beans and parsnips
making rainbows in the shower of water as we water in our seeds
collecting fallen leaves and piling them on our compost bays (in the process, a few leaves may have been thrown around for fun 😉)
