Cross Country Report

On Tuesday, 6th May, 54 enthusiastic students from Woodend Primary School participated in the CDSSA Cross Country at Hanging Rock Reserve. The weather was perfect for racing, providing the ideal conditions for all competitors.

The students did an outstanding job, with many students improving on last year’s performance.

A special congratulations to the following students who finished in the top 10:

• Dom – 2nd Place

• Edward – 4th Place

• Zoe – 1st Place

• Anouk – 2nd Place

• Maddy – 3rd Place

• Heidi – 4th Place

• Archie – 6th Place

• Arlo – 9th Place

• Daisy – 1st Place

We are incredibly proud of each participant for their efforts on the day.

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the parent volunteers who helped make the event such a success. Events like these simply wouldn’t be possible without your assistance.

Congratulations once again to all our athletes – those students who placed will be notified about the next stage at Castlemaine in the coming days.
