TOP ARTS EXCURSION

During the year 12 excursion to Melbourne to see Top Arts, we had Riley, Eva, Clelie and Mrs Strickland who visited the Second Bite Kitchen. The meals produced in this kitchen use food donated from supermarkets or farmers. They are the food that are close to a use-by date or in a shape the consumers won't purchase. The meals are cooked by chefs and are shipped to all around Victoria to help feed those who are less fortunate including those who are homeless, fleeing from domestic violence, university students. We spent 1.5 hours helping assemble 520 pasta meals that are given away.   

We appreciate your time and support in providing much needed nourishment and peace of mind for less fortunate people in our community.
