Students hit the court on Thursday for a thrilling 3x3 basketball activity held during lunchtime. The fast-paced game showcased impressive teamwork, quick passes, and some standout shots.

It was a fantastic way to stay active and have fun at lunchtime.
3 X 3 Basketball is held on each Thursday at lunchtime for anyone who is interested and umpired by Mr Sorrell.
For those of you who are not sure of what 3 x 3 basketball is, below are some basic rules/guidelines.
Basic Rules of 3x3 Basketball
3x3 basketball is a fast and fun game! Here are the basic rules to get you started:
Team Size: Each team has 3 players on the court at a time, with one substitute player available.
Court: The game is played on a half-court.
Scoring:
A regular basket is worth 1 point.
A shot made from behind the 3-point line is worth 2 points.
Game Duration: The game ends when one team scores 21 points or when 10 minutes have passed. If the score is tied, there’s a 2-point overtime.
Possession: After each basket, the other team takes possession and starts from the top of the key.
Shot Clock: Teams have 12 seconds to attempt a shot once they have the ball.
Fouls: Teams get 1 free throw after every 6 fouls.
Winning: The first team to reach 21 points or the team with the most points after 10 minutes wins the game.
