LAND CARE

YEAR 9 AND VCE OUTDOOR AND ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES
On Tuesday the 6th of May, the Year 9 and VCE Outdoor and Environmental Studies students, ventured to Richie Reserve in Korumburra to meet with the Arawata Land Care, Friends of Richie Reserve and the Gippsland Threatened Species Action Groups. The goal of the event was to learn about local conservational groups, local Floria and Fauna and what is being done to restore the Richie Reserve wet rainforest to its original state.
Our students were exemplary both in their behaviour and tree planting skills. The conservation groups where extremely thankful for our students hard work and community support.
