🌈 Wellbeing News 🧑💻
Hello wonderful parents and carers, 🌟
We hope you’ve all settled into Term 1 smoothly and that you and your families are feeling happy and settled into the school year. 😊
We currently have some kids shoes available for any families who may need them. If your child does need some shoes, please send us an email or come up to the office/uniform shop.👟 If you have any school shoes or sneakers in near-new condition that your child has outgrown, we would be very grateful for your donations. Please send them to the office, and we will keep them nearby so students can access a spare pair if needed. You’d be surprised how often shoes break or get muddy during the school day, so having spares on hand makes a big difference. 💙
Although Crissi has returned to the classroom and is no longer in the role of Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader, she is continuing to coordinate weekly family food boxes for families who may need some extra support. 🍎🥛 Please don’t hesitate to reach out to her via email at clarissa.kippie@education.vic.gov.au if you would like access to food staples for your family. We receive weekly deliveries from Foodbank, including bread, milk, cereals, tinned goods, fruit and more. Even if it’s just been a tough week and you need a one-off top-up, please feel very welcome to reach out. 🤝
Please take care of yourselves and each other. 💛
🌼 Wellbeing Tip of the Week
Create a small “connection moment” each day. This could be sharing a meal together, taking a short walk, or asking your child one positive question about their day. These little moments help children feel safe, seen, and supported—and they make a big difference to wellbeing.
Warm regards,
Beth, Gaylene, Antoinette & Crissi
