On Friday 6th March we invite our DCS Community (parents and friends) to join us as we come together as a wholehearted school community (K-10) to dedicate the year to our Lord Jesus.

The Dedication Assembly will be held on the Undercover Basketball Court from 8:30am (with an estimated start at 8:40am) on Friday March 6th. All of our classes and students from Kinder through to Year 10 will be joining us as we worship, praise, pray and dedicate our 2026 school year to our Lord.  (In the instance we encounter intermittent wet or windy weather on the day, we will move the Service to Jiloa.)

We will have our Jiloa Café open at the basketball court with hot drinks available as we gather, connect, look forward and give thanks in expectation for all 2026 will bring.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” - Matthew 22:37

Parking for parents, families and guests will be available along the school driveway (enter from Lapthorne Close) and in the gravel staff car park at 1 Jiloa Way. Street parking is also available along Jiloa Way and Lapthorne Close.

Additional Working with Students Course

In case you were unable to attend our previous Working with Students sessions, we will be hosting another session on Tuesday 10th March, commencing at 9:00am. If you are interested in attending, please contact admin@dcs.tas.edu.au .

2027 Year 7 Information Evening

We are pleased to invite the families of our incoming 2027 Year 7 students to an Information Evening on Tuesday, 17th March at 6:45pm for a 7:00pm start, in the JILOA Centre.

This session will provide a helpful overview of what to expect as your child transitions into Secondary School. We will share details about subjects, daily routines, the Secondary program, school laptops, and other important practical information.

Our school uniform range will also be on display throughout the evening, giving families an opportunity to view the Secondary uniforms and ask any questions.

This event is a wonderful chance to meet some of our Secondary staff, gather useful information, and help your child feel confident and prepared for the exciting year ahead.

We look forward to seeing you there!
