Camps and Pathways Week

Year 9 and Year 12 Camp
We are looking forward to showcasing what our Year 9 and Year 12 students will learn and experience during their upcoming camps
- Year 9 - 17-20 March
- Year 12 - 18-21 March
Throughout that week, students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a range of enriching experiences outside of the classroom, from outdoor adventures and cultural experiences to career development sessions, practical skills workshops, and community engagement projects.
These activities are designed to build connections, develop real-world skills, and support students in exploring their future pathways.
Keep an eye out for our special edition Nossal News newsletter in the coming weeks, where we will be sharing some of the highlights and memorable moments from the week!

Pathways Week
We are excited to give you a glimpse of what our Year 10 and Year 11 students will be getting up to during Pathways Week 17-20 March.
This four-day program takes learning beyond the classroom, connecting students with industry professionals, external providers, and hands-on experiences across a wide range of activities, from outdoor adventures and cultural experiences to career development sessions, practical skills workshops, and community engagement projects.
We will be showcasing some of the activities our students will participate in throughout the week in our special edition Nossal News newsletter.
Pathways Week is always a highlight of the Nossal calendar and one that students look forward to each year!
Read Shua Hwang's reflection of her time participating in last year's Pathways Week:
In late term 1, Nossal High School supported all Year 10 students in participating in an immersion day, designed to help us become ‘Future-Ready’ by the time we left high school.
I had the opportunity to visit the Melbourne Zoo with my friends, where we self-toured and learned about the diverse career pathways that contributed to the operations of the Zoo.
Throughout the day, we realised that the zoo is far more than just animal enclosures and exhibits but it is shaped by the dedicated zoo keepers, animals trainers and veterinary scientists.
Whilst it may seem like these careers may only be suited to students who want to seek a career in zoology, this experience highlighted the wide range of skills involved such as working in a team environment, affectively coping in dangerous situations and maintaining a duty of care.
This day was both insightful and enjoyable, providing me and my friends a meaningful glimpse into the different future pathways and inspiring us to think more broadly about the opportunities that are available after high school.
